What’s in it for me? What are the advantages of being selected for Amcor’s Graduate Program? How will it support my professional development and what will I learn during the process?
The complex world of business can be difficult to navigate: our Graduate Program enables you to learn about every layer of a multinational organisation – from shop floor to board room – and discover how to thrive in a complex matrix organisational structure. Not only are we keen to give you the opportunity to learn about our products and our business, but we also want you to see the Amcor brand from different vantage points – something made possible by the program’s three six-month rotations.
What are my chances to get selected?
We select around 10 graduates to join our EMEA program every year.
Joining a diverse team: Do I need to have a packaging background to work for Amcor?
No, not everyone has a packaging background. In fact, it’s our diverse employee base that fuels our creativity, innovation and customer focus. People working at Amcor come from a range of industries: from engineering, science and marketing to management consultancy. These different backgrounds provide the range of expertise and experience we need to respond to the ever-changing environment in which we operate.
Planning ahead: What tips do you have for the first interview and assessment centre?
Being prepared is crucial, but also remember to be yourself. At Amcor we like curious people, so ask questions and don’t worry if you don’t know the answer to everything. Having the right attitude is the most important thing.
Constructive feedback: What’s the company's performance review process – in terms of both the recruitment process and the graduate program?
The recruitment process includes CV screening, a video Teams interview, online tests and virtual assessment center. Talent Acquisition Team will be your guide throughout the process. Once selected to the program, you will be given feedback from various Amcor stakeholders, such as the Program Sponsor, Line Manager, the HR Team. At the end of each rotation, you’ll have the opportunity to present your key projects, challenges and learnings.
Personal growth and development: What development opportunities do you offer?
In addition to on-the-job training, you’ll also be supported throughout the program by a number of Amcor colleagues. We also offer a selection of virtual trainings on topics including, presentation skills, communication or technical.

Extra-curricular activities: What’s the social life like on the Graduate Program?
Graduates regularly connect virtually to look at their training plan and discuss shared learnings. Also, they sometimes meet during rotations in different European locations.
