We aim to reduce the impact of our operations, while increasing the positive effect Amcor has on people, products and the world around us.

Our supply chain

We are committed to a responsible, ethical, transparent and sustainable supply chain. Amcor suppliers sign up to our code of conduct and we encourage them to join and be assessed by EcoVadis. In turn, we share our SEDEX and EcoVadis assessments with our customers.

Amcor’s Supplier Code of Conduct includes principles for business integrity, labour standards, occupational health, and the environment. We also belong to AIM-PROGRESS, a forum of consumer goods manufacturers and suppliers that promotes responsible sourcing practices and sustainable production systems.

Amcor’s global operations

We’re improving outcomes for our people, customers, investors and the communities in which we operate. With our global EnviroAction program, we set targets to reduce greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions, waste-to-disposal, and water use.

Committed to safety

Safety is the start of everything we do at Amcor. We take care of each other so that everyone returns home safely, every day.

We report our safety performance in our Annual Report and our Sustainability Report. Everything at Amcor starts with safety – from how our colleagues and partners go about their work, to the way our packaging protects products and people.

In the workplace, we have a simple safety objective: No injuries! On top of site-specific safety programs, we are focused on preventing hand injuries, eliminating risks that can lead to serious injuries or fatalities, and further strengthening the safety culture across the company.
