Amcor helps you avoid employment scams

The names of large companies are often used in scams by people offering employment or other benefits falsely. Employment scams trick people into handing over money or sharing confidential information.

To help you decide if you are being targeted by a scam, here are some facts about Amcor’s recruitment process:

  • All email correspondence will come from an amcor.com email address

  • You will go through an interview over the phone and then in-person or through video conference before we offer you a job

  • We never send checks prior to the first day of employment or ask you to wire or transfer any amount of it back

  • We never ask people for bank account or social security numbers during the interview process

  • We never ask people to purchase a cell phone, computer, laptop or any other equipment

  • The first day of employment always takes place at an Amcor company location
