Amcor Rentsch Novgorod, Russia
A new Bobst Riviera with a rotary conversion unit will be installed in Novgorod in April 2008 and will be operational by June 2008. This press will add substantially to the installed capacity in Novgorod. Once fully operational in 3rd quarter 2008, it will ensure:

fulfillment to committed lead times
supply contingency in CIS markets
flexibility during demand peaks
The choice of press takes full advantage of 2 years experience gained in Amcor Rentsch France on an identical press and, together with the rotary die cutting expertise already established in AR Novgorod, will ensure world class performance in short time scale.

Amcor Rentsch Lodz, Poland
A new eight colour with 2 coating tower Heidelberg IIIB offset press is being installed in Lodz. The press will be commissioned in January and be operational in February 2008.

Together with the two existing IIIB Heidelbergs, plus the recently installed new Heidelberg computer to plate (CTP) system this investment will offer improvements in flexibility and speed to market in short lead time and complex markets.

Furthermore, two new Bobst Sprintera Autoplatines are on order. The first will be delivered in March 2008 and the second in May 2008. They will be operational by April and July respectively. This equipment compliments the existing Sprinteras in Rickenbach and full leverage of this existing experience will be used to ensure rapid ramp up to full output. These additional autoplatines offer:

high print to cut accuracy
high productivity and reliability
high levels of flexibility and supply contingency
